Por que demorei tanto para ouvir Olivia Ong? Por que não dei ouvidos à dica de Ianni? A voz dessa intérprete casa perfeitamente com a Bossa Nova, fazendo as honras dos japoneses que são apaixonados pelo gênero até mais que os brasileiros. Apesar de ser natural de Singapura, ela é contratada de uma gravador japonesa e canta em inglês e japonês.
Seus trabalhos com Bossa Nova são A Girl Meets Bossa Nova vol.1 e 2, onde ela interpreta de Justin Bieber a Frank Sinatra. A minha preferida é a versão de Samba de uma Nota Só ou One Note Samba do mestre Tom Jobim em parceria com Newton Mendonça.
